What reviewers are saying:
"Once again, the author has left me completely lost for words! I truly do worry for the state of this author's mind! That said I do hope she never ever changes, as it makes her books so delightfully disturbing to read. (maybe this means I should be concerned for my own state of mind too)."
"This is going to be one of my top 10 reads for 2016."

"I am just blown away by this story. I was just in awe. After I finished reading Butterfly, I was rendered speechless. No words could come out at all. That is why I love books by Rebecca Sherwin. She gives me books that make me totally insane and speechless. I love every moment of it. Butterfly is a beautiful, dark and suspenseful masterpiece that had me in a trance."

Excerpt: From Chapter Seven
When I wake up, I know I’m back in Cooper’s house. I can smell his closeness, with the lingering scent of sex. I’m bound again, this time against something hard, and I’m upright. I open my eyes and see Cooper below me, staring up at where he has me tied. “Where am I?” I croak, trying to turn my head. I can’t. A rope around my neck stops me moving. “In my tower,” he says. He’s wearing all black, his dark hair brushing the collar of his black shirt, his powerful legs encased in black trousers. I’m stunned, afraid but fascinated with him. “What are you going to do?” “Let’s have a little chat.” With his hands behind his back, he paces the oak floor in front of me. “Why did you run?” “I told you, I just wanted to let my family know I’m alive.” “But they’re supposed to believe you’re not. This is as much a punishment for Griffin as it is for you.” “What do you mean?” “He doesn’t realise how lucky he is to have you, does he?” I stop struggling against the rope and stare at him. “He doesn’t realise that he’s got a strong, fierce woman, because he’s too preoccupied with shoving you into a box you don’t fit in.” “Stop it.” “Because I’m right?” “You know you’re right. Now you’re just trying to hurt me.” “Perhaps.” He turns away and crosses the room, reaching the floor to ceiling curtains opposite me and pulling them open. The moon streams into the room in a thick, glittering stream that illuminates Cooper, shadowing his powerful form and highlighting just how dark he is. “Do you know what the funniest part is?” he asks, gesturing to the vast empty countryside beyond the window. We’re up high, tens of feet above the ground and looking down over the rolling hills of his land. “Enlighten me.” “You’re as low as you can get, as good as existing in the fucking sewers, and yet, you won’t allow me to lift you up where you belong. Instead you choose to tower above the world when no one knows you’re drowning. You’ve been forgotten, Erin. Just like that, the people you love have moved on, because they see you as nothing but a burden.” “You’re wrong!” A tear trickles from my eye and I watch it fall to the floor in slow-motion. “Why are you doing this?” “You ask me that a lot.” He turns and walks towards me, his turbulent grey eyes burning into my fractured soul. “Did you know, that a butterfly dies if you touch its wings? Right now, you’re my caterpillar, striving to be something more. I’m going to fill you up with deviance, little caterpillar, make you crave the next hit. And then, when you emerge from your cocoon a beautiful butterfly, I’m going to grab you by your tiny little wings and crush you beneath my palm.” A squeak leaves me at the sincerity in his voice. I know, without a shadow of a doubt, me trying to run has done this. And I have no doubt he’s going to accomplish his goal. Cooper Jennings will break me, and I have no choice but to wait to be crushed.

Blurb

It’s hard living on the wrong side of the tracks.

Lowen Seely has a criminal record to prove it. Determined not to follow in his father’s footsteps, he fights instinct and tries honesty. But hunger becomes painful, and bills are due. Di's Review
4 STARS!

"Bonnie & Clyde of 2016"

Mildly dark. A suspenseful plot that keeps you turning the pages. Love that withstands the time. Hopeless. Beautiful. Tragic.

"Guilty of my father’s crimes and culpable for being born underprivileged on the wrong side of the tracks, I was considered a criminal before I ever broke a law."

Low and Poe. Tragic yet beautiful. Bred by the cruel, non forgiving struggle of life. How many times have you thought about robbing a bank? I have, a few times. How may times have you said to yourself, the money is insured? This story takes you on a journey of hard times, the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak. It's the breaking point. Can you look at yourself in the mirror and be okay with what you see? Was there ever a choice, or did life hand you a bag of shit? Instead of taking it, you chose you're own destiny.

"I’m Lowen Joshua Seely. Son of a murderer, property of the state, society’s downfall. I am what nightmares are made of."

Bad or Good. Wrong or Right. Either way, I couldn't help but want the best ending possible for these two. They are loving criminals, that's the only way I can describe them. I put their crimes in the back of my mind, because I want to believe they deserve better. We see through the eyes of Low, his battle to become better, one step ahead, two steps back. Are monsters made or born?

"It’s biological for me to cheat, lie, and steal; corrupt genes preprogrammed me to sin, breaking God and people’s laws with ease."

Within all this madness, thievery, and heartbreak, there's love, a bond that can't be broken. I absolutely loved the interaction between Poe and Low. This could be the main reason why I wanted them to free. I wanted them to be free to love one another.

“You stupid girl,” I say, wishing I could hide her inside me. If there was a way I could split myself in half and veil Poe behind my heart, caged by rib bones and meat, I’d do it without question. Even if it meant death."

The ending is left to your own imagination. And I loved it. I had a stray tear running down my face, and my heart was smiling. Without a doubt I'd read whatever this author writes.

Excerpt

“Keep the engine running,” I say. “If I’m not out in five minutes, leave.”

Poe nods her head, but doesn’t argue.

When the nine o’clock hour comes, both she and I watch the clock on the dashboard turn to one minute after.

“You’ll need to keep your mask on, Poesy. Make sure none of your hair is showing,” I say. “Keep your head down the entire time.”

“Okay,” she answers in a small voice.

“If you see cops—”

“I know what to do, Lowen. I know you want me to leave you.” She sighs. “But I don’t know if I can.”

Despite our circumstances, I smirk. “Hopefully you won’t have to.”

At nine thirty, Poe and I switch seats, and she gets behind the wheel while I load the pistol. With hands that shake uncontrollably, I place the ski mask over my head but don’t pull it down my face. I help Poesy with hers, tucking in every stray strand of hair so they remain unseen.

She grabs my wrist, and our eyes meet. I see fear combined with love and loyalty in her stare.

I kiss her knuckles and promise with the chance of lying, “We’re going to be okay.”

Unlike when we drove into the garage, the streets are alive and filled with a variety of automobiles, and dirty sidewalks carry several pedestrians. The forty-second drive to the bank feels like forty years. Thick blood courses through my veins, and I feel it flow through arteries and vessels, nourishing muscle and bone. My head echoes with the thump, thump, thump of my hard heartbeat. Every breath is shallower than the one before it.

“Pull down your mask,” I say, but my voice sounds foreign and feels a million miles away.

As Poe drives into California Credit Union’s parking lot, I grip the cold steel in my hand.

The edges of my vision blur; I’m blinded by adrenaline.

My skin crawls like I’m covered in spiders; I’m delirious with edginess.

“Your ski mask,” Poesy shrieks. “Cover your fucking face, Lowen.”

My girl reaches over and pulls it down for me. The car stops to a screeching halt, and reality crashes into me in a brutal rush, stripping me of air and voice.

“If we’re in this, you need to go,” Poesy says in a calm but stern tone, hidden behind her black mask.

There’s peace in her eyes.

There’s strength in the girl who stayed with me when I was locked up.

The one who’s remained by my side, believing and starving all at the same time.

With the gun in my hand and determination in my heart, I leave Poesy in the car and push open the glass double doors into the bank.

As I step foot onto the burgundy carpet, I yell, “Everyone down on the fucking floor!”

Blurb As the president of the Sin City Outlaw Motorcycle Club, l fuck as hard as I ride and rarely go to bed alone. The women are fast and the violence is intense. I excel in both. People either respect me or fear me. I'm not arrogant. It’s just the truth. I was a king, reigning over Vegas without complication, until one gorgeous sheriff made everything fall apart. When I saw her, I became a Neanderthal, wanting nothing more than to be between those legs. I guess that’s where I went wrong, because my reality was shot to hell real fucking fast. One kiss caused her to step over that blue line. One night in her bed made me a traitor. And now… we’re both screwed.

reign.jpg

EXCERPT “Really? You got me donuts?” I arch a brow, dropping the lid. He turns, a mischievous smile fitting his face. “Don’t all cops like donuts?” he jeers. I roll my eyes, placing my hand on my hip. “That’s so stereotypical,” I huff. “Oh, really?” he replies, grabbing the box off the table, a smug smile still on his face. “I’ll get rid of them then.” “No, wait!” I nearly trip over my feet trying to grab the box of donuts. He holds them higher than me and smiles so big I think I see two dimples. Really, he’s pulling the notorious bully move holding them just above my reach? Why am I attracted to him again? “I thought you didn’t like them,” he taunts. “I do like them. A lot, actually.” I cross my arms, my cheeks flushing. My dad used to always take me to the local bakery to get donuts on the weekends. I would get whatever I wanted—usually anything with sprinkles—and we would drop the rest off at the department. What can I say, embrace your stereotypes. “So, it’s true. Cops love donuts,” he states arrogantly, sitting the box back down.

You either love MC or you don't. M.N. Forgy never fails to deliver a good MC romance. Reign kept me engaged, my attention stayed on Zeek and his Deputy. The drama, the anticipation and the antihero is HOT! If you're looking for something to grab you and keep you firmly in the story, Reign is your read.

Release Boost - Absolution by LP Lovell & Stevie J. Cole

Title: Absolution
Authors: LP Lovell & Stevie J. Cole
Genre: Romantic Suspense
 Release Date: January 11, 2016

Blurb

Evelyn

I pray to be forgiven for my sins, but the prayers of someone like me won't dare breach the edge of heaven.

Sins. All sins are equal in the eyes of God, but I'm not God. Some sins are far more wretched than others. And those sinners should pay, Evelyn. One sinner made me his sin, and I can't let men like him live. They must face their judgement, Evelyn. I want to kill them. Every. Last. One.

Ezra James is no different, and I wanted to kill him, I needed to kill him, I'm was going to kill him...And then I found myself fascinated by him, obsessed and possessed in the most reverent of ways. I became his sinner, and he became my sin, but the wages of sin is death, so I must kill him.

Ezra

The son of a whore, raised by gangsters, moulded into a key player in a corrupt world ruled by money and completely without morals.

This world can break a person. I’ve seen it time and time again. I never gave a shit, until the night I watched a man drop dead at the feet of a woman so broken she made even me feel whole. My little killer called to my depravity and everything in me demanded that I take her, possess her, own her.

Some monsters hide behind the faces of angels, where others stand in plain sight.

Damned. Broken. Irredeemable.

Through blood, absolution shall be found.

This is a 5 star read, if you can handle it.

If you're thinking that Absolution is going to be anything like the Wrong Series, you're going to be severely disappointed.

WARNING: The purpose of this story is to take you out of your comfort zone. There may be topics in this book you find repulsive or morally wrong-that is the intent.

Well, how do I write a review that will do Absolution justice? Did you read that warning? That's only the first couple of sentences. HEED THE WARNING, PEOPLE! I've been told for months that this book is fucked. It is raw, dirty, insane and complete wrong.

Absolution will rip you out of your comfort zone. If you're just getting into the dark genre do not start with this book. Work up to it.
"Ezra is like a storm, violent and turbulent, and as long as you aren't the one swept up in his winds, it's tragically beautiful."
Absolution is one of those that is very wrong, but oh so right. Seriously, I was turned on and repulsed at the same time. This is not a love story, even though you may catch some love within. It is not a story about bdsm, even if what you've read before makes you think otherwise. This is not a religious book, even if the characters religion is talked about. This is a book all in a class of its own!
"My world is potentially about to fall apart, and I should let her go, but I won't. I'm obsessed with her to the point I don't care what is best for her, only that she is with me. She should have walked away when she had the chance, before I fucked her, before I killed for her. Twice."
Be advised; there are scenes in this book that will make you uncomfortable, there are triggers, there are really, really fucked up scenes but in the end they all make sense.

B.B., also known as Bebe, found her passion for romance when she read her first romance novel by Susan Johnson at a young age. She would sneak into her mother's closet for books and even sometimes the attic. It soon became a hobby, and later an addiction, influencing her life in a positive way.

Bebe has always wondered about the existence of her talent. When she finally decided to pick up a metaphorical pen and start writing, she found a new way to embrace her passion.

She favors a romance that isn't always easy on the eyes or heart, and loves to see characters grow--characters who are seemingly doomed from the start but find love anyway.
