What reviewers are saying:
"Once again, the author has left me completely lost for words! I truly do worry for the state of this author's mind! That said I do hope she never ever changes, as it makes her books so delightfully disturbing to read. (maybe this means I should be concerned for my own state of mind too)."
"This is going to be one of my top 10 reads for 2016."

"I am just blown away by this story. I was just in awe. After I finished reading Butterfly, I was rendered speechless. No words could come out at all. That is why I love books by Rebecca Sherwin. She gives me books that make me totally insane and speechless. I love every moment of it. Butterfly is a beautiful, dark and suspenseful masterpiece that had me in a trance."

Excerpt: From Chapter Seven
When I wake up, I know I’m back in Cooper’s house. I can smell his closeness, with the lingering scent of sex. I’m bound again, this time against something hard, and I’m upright. I open my eyes and see Cooper below me, staring up at where he has me tied. “Where am I?” I croak, trying to turn my head. I can’t. A rope around my neck stops me moving. “In my tower,” he says. He’s wearing all black, his dark hair brushing the collar of his black shirt, his powerful legs encased in black trousers. I’m stunned, afraid but fascinated with him. “What are you going to do?” “Let’s have a little chat.” With his hands behind his back, he paces the oak floor in front of me. “Why did you run?” “I told you, I just wanted to let my family know I’m alive.” “But they’re supposed to believe you’re not. This is as much a punishment for Griffin as it is for you.” “What do you mean?” “He doesn’t realise how lucky he is to have you, does he?” I stop struggling against the rope and stare at him. “He doesn’t realise that he’s got a strong, fierce woman, because he’s too preoccupied with shoving you into a box you don’t fit in.” “Stop it.” “Because I’m right?” “You know you’re right. Now you’re just trying to hurt me.” “Perhaps.” He turns away and crosses the room, reaching the floor to ceiling curtains opposite me and pulling them open. The moon streams into the room in a thick, glittering stream that illuminates Cooper, shadowing his powerful form and highlighting just how dark he is. “Do you know what the funniest part is?” he asks, gesturing to the vast empty countryside beyond the window. We’re up high, tens of feet above the ground and looking down over the rolling hills of his land. “Enlighten me.” “You’re as low as you can get, as good as existing in the fucking sewers, and yet, you won’t allow me to lift you up where you belong. Instead you choose to tower above the world when no one knows you’re drowning. You’ve been forgotten, Erin. Just like that, the people you love have moved on, because they see you as nothing but a burden.” “You’re wrong!” A tear trickles from my eye and I watch it fall to the floor in slow-motion. “Why are you doing this?” “You ask me that a lot.” He turns and walks towards me, his turbulent grey eyes burning into my fractured soul. “Did you know, that a butterfly dies if you touch its wings? Right now, you’re my caterpillar, striving to be something more. I’m going to fill you up with deviance, little caterpillar, make you crave the next hit. And then, when you emerge from your cocoon a beautiful butterfly, I’m going to grab you by your tiny little wings and crush you beneath my palm.” A squeak leaves me at the sincerity in his voice. I know, without a shadow of a doubt, me trying to run has done this. And I have no doubt he’s going to accomplish his goal. Cooper Jennings will break me, and I have no choice but to wait to be crushed.

Blog Tour: Siren by Jaimie Roberts

SIREN

BY BESTSELLING AUTHOR JAIMIE ROBERTS
BLOG TOUR

I’m not a good person. In fact, I’m a real bitch. If the opportunity arises, I will take your husband, give him the best sex he’s ever had, and laugh behind your back once I’m done with him. I do not put on airs and graces. I just take what I want whenever I want it.

I am the abused who has become the abuser. I live for power because all power had been stripped from me for years. Now that I have it back, I feed off of it like it’s my primary sustenance, and I don’t care who I hurt in the process.

Every woman hates me, but do you know what? I don’t give a shit.

You won’t like me. I’m not here to be liked. You want to know my story? I won’t stop you from observing. Just know that once I’m done with you, no shower—no matter how scalding—will ever get me out from under your skin.

Warning: If you’re looking for pink, fluffy clouds, rainbows, and HEA’s, then this book is not for you. These pages contain flashback scenes of child abuse in all forms (physical, sexual, and emotional) as well as BDSM and other taboo themes.

Love does not live in this book. Only dark, twisted, and sick obsessions thrive here.

You. Have. Been. Warned!

Jamie's Review
4 Stars
Well, as a first book by Jaimie Roberts I can without a doubt say that I will be reading, obsessing over her work, more often.

I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into, even after the blurb, I was like "wtf, I'll give it a whirl." Solid 4.5 stars.

If you're looking for anything that resembles rainbows and unicorns, please bypass this book. There are triggers and all around fucked up things that happen in Siren. Real life bad things happen in this book.

I both loved and hated Scarlet and Reid. I felt like even though they were "working" together, they both had their own agendas. They made me laugh, cringe and cry. I think it's save to say they will stay with me for awhile. If you're into the dark, twisted, dirty side of life, you'll probably have the same feelings I did while reading, Siren. I honestly don't know how to write this review without giving anything away. Just take my word for it, READ THIS BOOK!

This book was reviewed on behalf of Twisted Sisters' Book Reviews.

Prologue
I stand over my father’s grave, wiping the tears that threaten to fall onto the soil beneath my feet. I’m wearing a black dress, which is cut just above the knee, and on my feet is a pair of brand new, black and red Louboutin high heels. I scream class, but I am also the perfect image of a daughter in deep distress over her father’s untimely death.
And what an untimely death it was.
I clutch my chest, heaving sobs of grief as I bend down to lay new flowers at his grave. I have been coming here every single day, bringing new flowers to replace the old ones. I pick up yesterday’s flowers and toss them aside as I trace the line of my father’s name on his headstone.
Here lies Richard Valentine, loving father to two daughters. Born 26th January 1970, Died 15th July 2016.
That was three weeks ago. His body was found buried in Virginia Water in Surrey—only nineteen miles or so from where I live. He was buried deep, but a storm sixteen days ago unearthed his decaying body. He had a stab wound in his back which was determined to be the cause of his death. It was murder, of course, and it is only now that the police are investigating.
At first, they thought he had run away—possibly met a girl, got swept off his feet, and was living by the beach, sipping cocktails with a buxom blonde. My sister kept on the case, though. She tried to tell them that it wasn’t like him to just disappear without at least keeping in touch. I vouched for her to the police, but I also reminded her of that time when he disappeared for a year without a trace and came back just as suddenly as he had left. I knew the real reason why, but I didn’t divulge it to my sister or to the police. That little secret was between Daddy and me alone. The two police officers gave each other that look… The one that says, “Yeah, there’s no foul play here.” They just thought he had found the girl of his dreams and was busy acting the part of the doting boyfriend to his new plaything.
As I think on this, I stroke his grave tenderly and sweep away the leaves that have fallen from the nearby trees. I need to make sure that it is clean and tidy before kneeling down at his grave and throwing my arms over the gravestone. With my arms shielding me from anyone who may be watching, I take in a long, deep breath. A smirk rises on my face as I utter the words, “You always loved it when I threw my arms around you, didn’t you?” I sigh, scooting up to get closer to his headstone before spitting on his grave.
“I hope you’re enjoying your time in Hell, Daddy.”

Jaimie Roberts was born in London, but moved to Gibraltar in 2001. She is married with two sons, and in her spare time, she writes.
In June 2013, Jaimie published her first book, Take a Breath, with the second released in November 2013. With the reviews, Jaimie took time out to read and learn how to become a better writer. She gets tremendous enjoyment out of writing, and even more so from the feedback she receives.

Release Blitz & Review - Binary Code by D H Sidebottom & Rebecca Sherwin

☆☆ NEW DARK ROMANCE ☆☆
TITLE: Binary Code
AUTHOR: D H Sidebottom & Rebecca Sherwin
RELEASE DATE: 31st August 2016

AMAZON LINKS:

SYNOPSIS:

Binary: Relating to, composed of, or involving two things.
Code: A system of words, letters, figures or symbols used to represent others, especially for the purposes of secrecy.

Everything comes in twos. His and hers. Mine and yours. Love and hate. Life and death. The world is made up of pairs.
So what happens when the line is blurred, when the rules we use to define our lives become…skewed?
What happens when the rules are broken? His and hers becomes his, hers and…theirs. Mine and yours becomes mine, yours and ours. Love and hate become love, hate and conflict. Life and death become a battle, an infinite number of risks swinging on a pendulum.

Carter cracked my code. He dug deep into the genetics of who I was and he rewrote every moment of my life. He forced his way in, reshaping every thought in my head, manipulating every instinct that kept me alive.
Yet, in doing so he altered the structure of his own code and broke every single rule he lived by. He was the encryption I couldn’t decipher, and I was the mystery that finally forced him to reveal exactly who he was.

This book contains adult themes, including M/F/M

Di's Review

5 TWISTED STARS!
I knew this book would be dark, but I didn't know they were going to take my brains out and play with them. My mind feels violated, exposed, smashed to smithereens. A cerebral rapery. I'm thinking S & S shouldn't be able to write together, I'm thinking they should pound out a bookshelf's worth, I'm thinking I loved every fucking bit of their chemistry, and can't help but feel a bit of Stockholm Syndrome. I LOVE YOU, you've captured my mind. My heart only beats for you. You've cracked my twisted code. Okay, I better get on with the book.

Hailey meets Carter in her Art Gallery. A foul mouthed alpha that makes her re-think her abstinence. Oh, but Hailey has another life beyond art... Dangerous. Dark. Deadly. And Carter has peeked in. Will he expose her in every way?

"He was compelling and deterring all at once. I wanted to step back, turn around and run away, and yet I wanted to step closer."

Carter. Yeah, motherfucking Carter. He's deadly for panties everywhere. He's my favorite nightmare and all my twisted dreams combined. He has a job, yet he meets Hailey and all things become complicated. Killer or protector.

"I didn’t kill for sport. I didn’t even kill for a living. I killed because I had an insatiable desire to do it, and that was reason enough for me."

PHEW! WOAH! Let me take a breath. I read this book two times. TWO TIMES! I don't re-read, okay. I was heart broken, in love. I loved every trip I took in this book and turned right around and revisited the game. I wanted to hold each character in my palm and dissect them. The writing was phenomenal. I didn't know who wrote what. Co-authoring at its finest. They kidnapped me, took me hostage, and made me soak every one of their words up. I couldn't let go. I can't let go. I'm too far into the code.

“So you see, I win because I gave you love. And love is the only weapon that can truly ruin us.”

I RECOMMEND TO LOVERS OF DARK ROMANCE AND MIND-Fuckery. For real, they did a number on me. My heart and mind was completely shattered then put back together with pieces of my soul lost.

Di's Review

5 Claim Me Stars!
Pam Godwin touched my dark heart with this one. Although this is dark romance, cartels, and human slavery, it's emotionally dark, touching me on a deeper level. I absolutely loved it.

Disclaim is the third book in the Deliver Series, all interconnected standalones, but I highly recommend reading the entire series, you'll form a deeper connection to the characters if you do. This is Camilla's story.

Vigilante, former slave. Camilla is on the hunt, she's damaged from of her past, but nothing stops her from finding her own justice and saving innocents. She will risk her freedom to take down the scum of Human Trafficking. Her years in captivity have taught her to be a slave... Can she dig deep, become a slave once again, or will her fight be the death of her. Camilla is my kind of heroine, I love a fighter, a backbone, she's kickassery. Pam Godwin stayed true to Camilla from start to finish. We take a emotional ride with her thoughts, her battle to find acceptance while breaking the chains within her own mind.

"There was a darker motive. A selfish desire to overpower the fears that haunted her. Her enslavement had wrought a deep dissatisfaction with her own life, and though her body had healed from the trauma, her bleeding soul demanded she do this."

One thing she hadn't planned for, her captor. The one man that haunts her soul. The one that's always there but never there. Matias. I'm getting goosebumps writing this. He's cruel, domineering, and shrouded in secrets. My kind of man. As we uncover layer upon layer, digging deeper and deeper, his true motives are revealed. Has Camilla found someone to help her, or is he another captor she won't survive?

"She feared him as all monsters were meant to be feared in the dark. Only he wasn’t under the bed . He was in it, his breath on her neck, skin against skin, and he was hungry."

The past in so many ways made me fall in love with this book. I have a true appreciation for all the characters in this series, the first book captured me and I'm forever a willing slave. Camilla & Maitias' pasts included. Tough subjects included, I was enthralled with their story. I hung on to that innocence, I wrapped myself up with their beginning and I didn't want to let go. Not just the characters though, this book packed a punch in all the right places. It's been days since I finished and haven't been able to move on. I closed this book with watery eyes and the need for every single character's story. I'd consider this one a must for dark romance fans. A MUST.

Pam Godwin always seems to lead me straight to the dungeon and I accept willingly.

Title: Lost
Co written By: D.H Sidebottom & Ker Dukey

Cover Designer: Amy Queau

We came from nothing and were given a second chance at life, and life was pretty good until it tipped on its axis and my world came tumbling down around me.
My Baby Sister is missing…
Stolen…
Lost…
I’ve never felt this helpless before now, the vacant hole inside me expanding with each passing second of not knowing where she is.
What’s she going through?
Is she hurt?
Suffering?
Alive?
The more I learn of her disappearance the more fear implants itself inside my heart, hardening - darkening.
The world is a depraved place, full of evil lurking behind normality.
Behind smiles.
Behind deception and facades.
She needs me and I will do whatever it takes to find her.
Whatever.
Whatever.

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active… I would want to change the script.I would watch films and think of ways they could have improved the story if they took another direction so i thought it best that i tell my own.
My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light, some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.
When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.

You can find me on Facebook where I love interacting with my readers.
