Well, Aria is definitely fucked up. She had a rough childhood and it bled into her adult life. You need to read Degrade to better understand what is going on in this book.
Aria doesn't believe in love and happily ever afters. It's not for her. Mika knew the moment he "met" her, that he had to have her. He's a complete creepy, stalker guy and I loved him.
There are dark elements/moments that I absolutely loved. I would totally hang out with Aria if she was a real person.
