Dirty Ties is a gem! Pam Godwin, THANK YOU! A gripping story based on a tangled web of wealth, power, blackmail, deceit, sex and revenge topped with amazing characters and plot….What’s not to love?
It’s not often I find myself going back to read previous chapters not because I’ve lost my place but because I want the experience all over again. Page after page, this book is chalked full of excitement.
Kaci Anderson, has been bred to be the puppet of both her parents and her in-laws. It is her duty to uphold the family image for the sake of their sordid political agenda. Her entire life has been controlled by blackmail including her marriage to Collin Anderson. She loves her husband/ life-long best friend and will do anything to protect him. It is for this reason only that she willingly plays the part and submits to her role. Proof of infidelity will take the only thing Kaci has worked so hard to grasp. CEO of her parents and in-laws company, Trenchant Media. Only then will she be able to do things her way and free herself and Colin from their personal hell. She finds release seeking out the road on her Ducati. Her one obsession is Evader. He is the underground motorcycle racing god she finds herself fantasizing about constantly. After witnessing his mother’s death and coming across her journal it was clear what Logan needed to do. Avenge! Logan is smart, driven and will stop at nothing to achieve his objective. His main goal, become the CEO of Trenchant Media, take them out right at the core. Dun Dun Dunnnnn!!!! He and his brainy partner, Benny, begin the illegal bike racing as means to fund and bait his objective.

Just when Logan/Evader has finally reached the point to begin his lifelong quest to implement revenge on two of Chicago’s most powerful families, he finds himself falling for one of the targets on his hit-list. She is there near the finish line of every one of his races always hidden away from the crowds. Gorgeous body on a gorgeous bike, the mysterious 'Miss Ducati’s' face is unknown, always hidden beneath her silver helmet. She is the only one that he finds himself searching for.

Let me just say ELEVATOR scene! HOLY SHIT!
“I closed my eyes, envisioning my usual elevator rides. Cold, empty, unfulfilled journeys to nowhere. When I glanced up, the man I’d mentally f**ked for nine months was still there, in the flesh, staring down at me. Dark and motionless. Goddamned unnerving. Hard to breath. Still staring. My chest constricted. Tighter. No air. Shit. “Why did you follow me?” Good lord, that came out breathy. “We weren’t done.” He pivoted to face the panel of buttons.”
Kaci F’n Anderson! Not only is she on his radar she is MARRIED. Logan immediately draws conclusions that she is a cheater and a whore. He couldn’t be more wrong. Here is where the plot thickens! The shocking lengths Logan goes to in order to achieve is goal had my eyes bulging from my head. It’s so freaking twisted and good! The layers of manipulation and deception grow deeper and deeper. Be prepared to lose track of time. This book had me on the edge of my seat until the very end. It’s a WINNER!
