WARNING: This book may cause intense throbbing and need for release. BE PREPARED! Thought my days of reading BDSM books were over. Apparently NOT. Guilty Pleasures is one of the HOTTEST books I've ever read! Interesting plot that brings a very refreshing spin on the millions of cookie cutter BDSM books out there. Plowed through this sucker in one sitting. I'm kicking myself for not reading it sooner. NO fluff involved here AND it's a standalone! This is one that I'll definitely revisit from time to time!

What a delightful little treat! This book would be a great starter for some that want to delve into the darker side. I'm a Kitty Thomas fan and have no idea why I hadn't read this one yet, this is vanilla compared to other work. Now take in to consideration that most of the books I read are very dark and explicit. I still enjoyed it immensely and now I'm itching for Broken Dolls!

Okay, sign me up! This story reminded of The BDSM books I started out with, completely arousing I should say, but not too dark. There's a few twists that made the story that much better, I had it figured out but I still loved the ending. What I truly love about Kitty Thomas is her ability to make ponder right vs wrong!
This is a gateway book to introduce you to the darker side!
Kitty Thomas writes dark literary erotica that explores dominance and submission. Not really classed as romance, though some readers see it that way. It's a case of your mileage may vary. Romance genre conventions and rules are not usually followed but some books could easily be classed as "erotic romance" such as Mafia Captive or Tender Mercies.
