SOCIOPATH
It's not even a kiss anymore. It's jumping off a building. It's a coke binge. A single slash to the throat. Kissing Leo is like perpetual suicide; I die in her mouth over and over, my hips smacking into hers with all the force of the fall.
When I pull away, her lips are swollen and pink, the skin around her mouth rubbed sore from my stubble. Too busy just looking at her, I loosen my hold on her braid. She hunches forward and hides her face in my shoulder; there, she takes slow breaths and murmurs to herself, trying to come back from an edge she didn't know was there.
"I didn't think it would be like that," she whispers.
"It never has been," I tell her, my voice hoarse. "It never is."

Author Bio
I like dysfunction. Broken people who can't fix each other, but fit together because they're missing the same pieces. One of my favourite songs declares, "take the sinner down to feed desire," and that's my MO. I write dirty psychological thrillers with strong elements of dark romance.
I love antiheroes. Female characters who don't just accept their faults, but downright exploit them. No nice boys. No shame. Mindfuckery for all.

Questioning everyone around me.
I'm a mess right now.
Not a sobbing upset mess but a paranoid one.
Who is real?
Who is fake?
Who puts a smile on all while thinking of dirty scary thoughts?
I honestly can say this was one of the most unique stories I have ever read.
There are so many twists and turns.
I am still rubbing my head wondering if what I read was truly what happened or what I have allowed my imagination to believe what happened.
It certainly is not a book for the faint of hearts.
It's a dark. Definitely a dark but in a way that a horror type book would be.
This is definitely an author everyone should be watching for.

Debut novel? Pfft. Lime Craven did an absolutely wonderful job at capturing my attention and keeping it through the entire book!
"Heady. Expensive. Difficult to come by. Desire is like a black market drug. A rich man desires little but the things he cannot buy. I hold a great deal of power, but none of it compares to opiate thrill of flesh. Or thought. God, there's power there, too. Something primal. I'm not a caveman; I can't go around killing people with my bare hands or spitting teeth at enemies. But desire takes me pretty damn close. For this reason, most of the time, I must contain it or risk everything I've worked for."
Sociopath:
a person with a psychopathic personality whose behavior is antisocial, often criminal, and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience.
We all want inside the mind of a sociopath. Well, I do anyway. This was written as if Aeron was speaking to me, telling about his twisted childhood, his mask, and his desire for blood. In more ways than one he completely intrigued me. The beginning of the story is more character development, the why, the how, but as the story progresses the story takes a turn... Predator or Prey? Cat and Mouse. Aeron is infatuated with Leo, the book is only written in Aeron's perspective, so you have no idea what's going on in Leo's head. I LOVED it! She is a spitfire, take no sh*t type if gal. As the story unfolds, secrets are revealed, pasts unfold, and the plot explodes. The ending was totally unexpected but I loved it. I wanted more though, what happens to his brother, more insight into Leo, and other things I won't spoil. Let's hope we get a follow up book, second book, a Leo perspective, ANYTHING! I'll just be honest and say I just didn't want the story to end!!!
