GIMME MORE PLEASE... (Lina & Sarge!) Wow really impressed with this one. If you like books with rocky romance, rough sex (a lot of sex), violence (against men and women), human trafficking, betrayal and revenge, Grit is a book for you! This book definitely contains some emotionally charged, graphic scenes that some may not be able to handle. Grit ranks right on up there with some of the big dogs of biker books! I don't know what it is but I just can't seem to get enough of these alpha, sex-crazed, fearless bikers! Add a feisty, headstrong, don't take no shit heroine, and its a winner for me! LOVED the love/hate chemistry between Dillon (Nix) and Jaeger. I couldn't wait for them to have another fight! ;) Well written characters, smart realistic dialog and a thrilling plot that grabbed me from page one and held onto me until the end. Margaret McHeyzer... you rocked this one! Can't wait to read more from you in the future!

4.5 STARS!
A BREATH OF FRESH AIR! MC BOOK WITH HUMOR! Every time I pick up book by Margaret McHeyzer I'm surprised. I've read three totally different books from her and they each were original. I tend to stay away from biker books, only because if you've read one, it seems like you read them all. I took a chance on this and I'm glad I did. The banter between Phoenix and Jaeger was HILARIOUS! A president of an MC 'The Hunters' and a farm girl was downright hysterical. This story had it's dark moments, which may not be suitable for non-dark readers, but it's wasn't anything I would consider a warning for. Phoenix is a strong heroine with balls of steel. For her and Jaeger. And Jaeger was nothing like any MC President I've ever met, I mean he a brutal fighter, a killer and a criminal, through it all I fell more and more in love with his character. He's just up front and loveable. He had me rolling through the entire book.

"You’re arrogant, an asshole, an alpha male, and I don’t go for those types.” A chuckle reverberates through my body. An alpha male. What a stupid-ass description. Alpha males don’t exist. There are only men with balls and men that are pussies."

I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK! Not too dark with hilarious banter between the main characters that has you rolling on the floor. I want some books about the side characters. Job well done for your first MC book, Margaret!!!!

I was really surprised with this book. With so many MC books surfacing there is a lot of competition. They all start to blend together and sound the same. Not this one though. Nope. Not by a long shot. Phoenix was dealt a crappy hand, but she didn't know it yet. Jaeger has been haunted in his dreams by her flaming red hair, never imagining he would see her again. Circumstances by Daddy dearest causes there worlds to collide. Jaeger tries his hardest to seduce Phoenix but his lack of any sense of romance has caused a few roadblocks. Phoenix's need for security and trust is hard for her to gain now that her world was turned on it's axis. This was a good original story. It definitely had the whole MC biker feel to it. Good job Margaret. Not a lot of authors can pull off a biker book like this. --Twisted Sisters Book Reviews--

This was my first read by Margaret and I really enjoyed it! Jaeger, Jaeger, Jaeger...what an ass! I loved him! he went from fighting to survive to being prez of his MC. He never had one woman, he had many any time he wanted them. he didn't do the romance thing but that was all about to change when he runs into Red again after years of looking for the girl he saw at a fight a long time ago. Nix..she doesn't take shit from anybody! the last thing she needs is a gang of bikers showing up on her door step looking for her old man so they can collect on a debt he owes them. Nix and Jaeger go rounds in this book! I'm surprised she didn't shoot him on her doorstep! what an emotional ride with the violence, betrayal between the MC, and some revenge in the end. I hope I get another installment! maybe Sarge and Lina!! ~Twisted Sisters Book Reviews~

image (1)tag19 Sarge walks into the kitchen and looks between the coffee all over the fridge door, the smashed porcelain on the ground and me, chuckling.

“That went well,” he says and lets his own laughter rip from his lips. “Heard her shrieking like a banshee out in the yard.”

“She wants to go home.” I rub my hands over my eyes and try to relax, but knowing she’s pissed isn’t great for me.”

“Women are different,” Sarge says with a shrug.

“Tell me about it.”

“Sometimes it’s best to shut the fuck up and not fight ‘em.” Sarge sits in the chair that Nix was sitting in.

“You pussy-whipped?” I ask as I feel my eyebrows draw together in question.

“Hmmm.” He reverts back to normal Sarge. “Women wanna be told what to do, but you need to make it look like it’s their idea.”

“That’s fucked. She should just do what I say and be happy with it.”

Sarge shakes his head. “She’s right, you’re a dick.” photo 2 (27)tag35
20140703-111739-40659135.jpgphoto 2 (26)tag15I don't do 'normal'. I've found that the more I write, the more I like being different to other authors. I write in first person, and I love to challenge a reader. I take the normal and switch it around. For me, I really enjoy getting a reaction from a reader. So if I can evoke an emotion (regardless of if it's the emotion the reader wants) then I figure that I've done my job as an author I want to be. I really quite revel in taking people out of their comfort zones and pushing them to read something different. My genre of writing is, well quite frankly, where ever my mind goes. I won't label myself because I don't like sticking to one genre. My goal with writing is just to take people away from whatever is going on in their lives, even if it's only for a split second. I'm a go with the flow sort of person and don't really take a course of action to get where I am going. I live in the moment and don't usually worry about tomorrow because whatever life is due to bring me, I'll be happy to accept. I love my family and friends and will help anyway I can if someone needs it. I really don't like people that are nasty just because they can be, I don't believe that's necessary, I mean life's hard enough as it is! I hope you enjoy my books, I've had a hoot writing them. There's more to come..... Til next time. M xx
